About Me

Welcome to EquiLibra Therapy!

My name is Delia Cioara and I’m a Jungian psychotherapist and clinical psychologist based in Brașov, Romania. I work with adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, make sense of their inner world, and engage with the parts of their life that feel stuck or painful.

My background combines academic study, in-depth therapeutic training, and real-world clinical experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in Psychology from Transilvania University of Brașov (Romania), a rigorous four-year programme that laid the foundation for my work. I continued my studies with a Master’s in Psychology at Swansea University (UK), where I broadened my perspective and deepened my knowledge of psychological theory and practice.

I completed my professional training in Analytical Psychotherapy with the Romanian Association for Analytical Psychology (ARPA), a programme recognised by the International Association for Analytical Psychology. I am also certified by the College of Romanian Psychologists in both Clinical Psychology and Analytical Psychotherapy.

My work is grounded in Jungian theory but shaped by the lived realities of each person I meet. I offer therapy in both Romanian and English, and I bring a thoughtful, steady presence to the work we do together. I believe that true change goes beyond shifting your mindset—it requires a deeper engagement with the unconscious beliefs and experiences that shape your reality. As Carl Jung said:

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate.”

Who I Work With:

I work with adults who are committed to self-exploration and personal responsibility. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or a sense of disconnection from yourself, therapy offers the opportunity to gain clarity and build a more authentic relationship with yourself and others.

How I Work?

My approach is based on in-depth self-exploration rather than symptom management.

In my work, I focus on what lies beneath the surface. Not just your thoughts, not just your emotions — but the deeper story that shaped how you see yourself, others, and life.

Jungian therapy looks at the unconscious, dreams, symbols, inner conflicts — all the things that often influence us without us even realising. I’ve always found that when we start to see these inner movements clearly, something begins to shift. There’s space for change. For choice.

Through this process, you’ll develop a greater awareness of your true self. The goal is not to rely on external guidance but to become attuned to yourself and your own capacity for transformation.

If you are ready to:
✔ Explore the deeper origins of your struggles
✔ Reflect on your life’s meaning and direction
✔ Strengthen your connection with yourself and others
✔ Take intentional steps toward lasting change
